Very displeased with Armenia squad coach’s results – Football Federation boss

YEREVAN. – “As president of the Federation, I’m more interested in [Armenia national football squad manager] Bernard Challandes’ results. I’m very displeased with the results. I can’t be satisfied with the result that the team have garnered a mere one point in three games.”
Football Federation of Armenia President Ruben Hayrapetyan stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Tuesday, the NEWS.am Sport reporter informed.
“If I hadn’t trusted Challandes, I would have announced that he’s fired. [But] I’m not doing that because I still trust [him]; but I’m not satisfied with his tactics.
“I still assess our chances [to qualify for the Euro 2016] to be sufficient. We do have chances. But if we continue to play the same way, we have no chances.
“All Armenian footballers in the world are at our focus.
“I would have fired Challandes with great pleasure if I knew that a coach with a magic wand will come, [and] who will immediately develop our football with no time to waste,” Hayrapetyan noted, in particular.
