Armenian world champion on karate full contact on WUFC to visit Armenia (video)

Valencia, Spain hosted Mix Fight Events K-1 international tournament (kickboxing, Thai boxing) on Mar. 31, where Armenian Levon Minasyan defeated champion Spanish Daniel Gomez with a knockout in the second round. One of the organizers of the tournament, world champion on full contact karate on WUFC (International Combat Martial Arts Unions Association), 26-year-old Vardan Mnatsakanyan gave an interview to News.am Sport.

Mnatsakanyan became the champion for three times in Armenia, later he moved to Valencia and organized the MIX FIGHT EVENTS tournament. The tournament invites fighters all over the world, besides, it is famous in Spain.

“We have the right to hold the tournament on K-1, MMA rules, as well as kick boxing, Thai boxing, which allows us to hold it in many states,” he said.

Mnatsakanyan has twice become champion on full contact in the Valencia region, won the DEMONS AND DIAMOND K1 TOURNAMENT, as well as is the incumbent champion on kickboxing since 2010 and defends the title each year.

Moreover, the champion intends to visit Armenia in near future and hold seminars.
