YEREVAN. – The Maltese national football team’s game has become stronger in recent matches; it will not be easy for our team on Friday, Armenian national squad defender Levon Hayrapetyan told NEWS.am Sport.

To note, Armenia will play 2014 World Cup qualifier Group B matches against Malta and Denmark. Armenia will host Malta on Friday and play an away game in Denmark on June 11.

“Malta have a very organized team defense; their game has changed. They have become stronger, [and] they attack better. A tough game awaits us. We did not underestimate the opponent in the first match [in Malta], but it is hard to play against Malta. It is very humid in Malta and difficult to play under these weather conditions. In addition, that was our first match in the qualifiers. The important thing, however, is that we won [by a score of 1-0]. This return match will be very tough; [but] the important [thing is that] we win,” Hayrapetyan said, in particular.
