VfL Wolfsburg defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach, by a score of 3-1, in the 34th—and final—week in the current season of the German Bundesliga.
During the match, however, Croatia national football squad and Wolfsburg midfielder Ivan Perišić made a shot on the Mönchengladbach net. The ball, however, hit the two vertical goalposts and the crossbar and returned back to the pitch.
