“[Spain international and Chelsea FC (England) striker] Fernando [Torres] is calm. He knows we are not going into the market now,” Chelsea manager José Mourinho stated.
The Portuguese football specialist announced that the English club is not planning on acquiring a new striker in winter.
“In the summer, normally a club like Chelsea are trying to improve and get new players, but he [i.e., Torres] knows we like him and support him and there is no problem.
“All teams want the attackers to score goals. It’s wonderful when players in other positions do this. But usually it’s the job of the forwards,” Daily Mail quotes Mourinho as saying.
