We all understand that Klitschko is a fine champion, but no one wants to watch his fights, stated British boxer and former world heavyweight champion David Haye.
He spoke about the forthcoming bout between between WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko of Ukraine and Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin.
“The fight [of mine] against [Tyson] Fury will be more interesting than the Klitschko-Povetkin bout. It is a title fight, but they virtually do not talk about it. No one cares about their fight. People care about the Haye-Fury bout. And all this comes from Wladimir’s personality and his style,” Boxingnews quotes David Haye as saying.
To note, the Haye-Fury fight will take place on September 28 in Manchester, England, whereas the Klitschko-Povetkin title bout is slated for October 5 in Moscow.
