Josep Guardiola, head coach of Catalan champions Manchester City, has predicted that the English team will fight for the title at Euro 2024.
"The England national team is really strong. They have talented players and Gareth Southgate has created a system close to the title. The England national team can win Euro 2024.
In previous major tournaments I had the impression that they are making some steps towards the title and are close to it," The Telegraph quoted Guardiola as saying.
The team's opponents at the group stage of Euro 2024 will be Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.
UEFA European Championship will be held from 14 June to 14 July in Germany.
