Xavi: I feel the confidence of the club, president, sports director, players

Xavi, the manager of the reigning Spanish La Liga champions, Barcelona, has noted the main reason why he changed his decision and will not leave the Catalan club in the summer.

"At first, I felt responsible and thought that it is better to step aside. But months passed, and now I feel confident. I feel the confidence of the club, the president, the sports director, and the players. That is a valid reason," Xavi said, Mundo Deportivo reported.

Xavi had announced in January that he will step down as Barca manager in June. However, it became known last week that the club management convinced him to stay.

Xavi's current contract with Barcelona runs until June 2025.
