FFA and the UN Refugee Agency announce the launch of the refugee team

FFA and the UN Refugee Agency announce the start of the formation of a team of amateur footballers with refugee status who will take part in the Unity Euro Cup 2024 international tournament in October, according to the FFA website. The tournament is a joint initiative between UEFA and UNHCR to help refugees integrate.

Both boys and girls can play in the team. Anyone who fulfills the following conditions can apply:

- She/he is 18-40 years old.

- Has played football.

- Has refugee status and a document confirming it.

- has permanent residence in the Republic of Armenia.

- has a travel document.

- is ready to devote two days a week to two hours of football training;

- is ready to take part in football training two days a week for two hours; - is ready to go to Switzerland for three days in October.
