Varazdat Haroyan: Every year we miss something (PHOTOS)

In recent years, we constantly talk that we have good chances, but in the end something is missing. In connection with the Nations League, I would not like to talk about our chances from the beginning. We have to prepare for every game like the last game. Varazdat Haroyan, a defender of the Armenian national football team and Qingdao West Coast (China), said this in an interview with reporters.

Together with fellow teammates, the player of the Armenian national squad on Monday took part in a training session led by manger Oleksandr Petrakov, which was open to the media. And after the 1.5-hour training, the footballers answered the reporters' questions.

"We [i.e. Armenia] are preparing well for the upcoming games. It's been two days since we started the [training] camp. Today we discussed also the last match with Croatia, we analyzed the mistakes. We will prepare for the friendly match with Kosovo from tomorrow. We have two opponents, both play the same game in style, we will study with the coaches. I am in a good mood myself, I came to the team in high spirits.

In connection with the [UEFA] Nations League, I would not like to talk about our chances from the beginning. In recent years, we have been talking that we have great chances, but in the end something is not enough for us. I would like us to prepare for every game like the last one and fight for three points in every game. Every year we miss something. We have a good chance, we have to prepare for every game like the last one, for three points. We have opponents with whom we have played many times," said Varazdat Haroyan.

Armenia will host Kosovo on March 22, and will be hosted by the Czech Republic on March 26.
