The wake of Armenian legendary gymnast, three-time Olympic champion, world and European champion Albert Azaryan is being held at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Yerevan on Friday.
The last farewell ceremony for Azaryan will take place Saturday, between 11am and 1pm at the Saint Hovhannes Church in Yerevan, and from 1pm to 1:30pm—at the sports school named after Albert Azaryan, informs the press service of the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia.
Albert Azaryan will be laid to eternal rest at Komitas Pantheon in Yerevan on Saturday at 2pm.
The legendary Armenian gymnast passed away Tuesday at the age of 94.
