Euro-2024. Armenia defeated Latvia in the first half (photos)

In the fourth round of the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament, the Armenian national soccer team hosted the Latvian national team at the "Republican" Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium in Yerevan and won after the first half with a score of 1:0.

The team, led by Ukrainian Oleksandr Petrakov, created 10 scoring chances and effectively converted one of them. In the 32nd minute, the Armenian team resorted to forced substitution. The injured striker Norberto Briasco Balekian (Boca Juniors) was replaced by the midfielder of the Polish Pogon Vahan Bichakhchyan.

On 35 minutes, Lokomotiv Moscow's guard Nair Tiknizyan opened the scoring with a wonderful strike (video), which was assisted by Artak Dashyan, the midfielder of Yerevan's Pyunik.
