Norway's Magnus Carlsen, the 16th world champion, and Russia's Yan Nepomnyashchy will play in the same team at the World Rapid and Blitz World Championships, the official FIDE website reports.
The team will also include Uzbek Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Pole Jan Krzysztof Duda, India's Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, Germany's Vincent Keymer, Russia's Alexandra Kosteniuk and China's Hou Yifan.
The championship will be held from 1st to 6th August in Astana (Kazakhstan). The prize fund will be $350,000.
