Гроссмейстер Грант Мелкумян после 5-го тура шахматного турнира в Риге набрал 5 очков. Армянский шахматист единолично лидирует в турнирной таблице.

В последнем туре Мелкумян черными обыграл испанца Иниго Аргандону.
