Вице-чемпион Европы Рафаэль Оганесян (86 кг) завоевал бронзовую медаль на чемпионате мира по боксу, который проходит в Ереване.

Представитель Армении в полуфинале проиграл Алексею Алферову из Беларуси нокаутом в первом раунде.

Ранее бронзовыми призерами стали Артур Базеян (60 кг) и Оганес Бачков (67 кг).
