Чемпионат Европы по тяжелой атлетике. Айк Акопян завоевал «бронзу»

На завершившемся в Эйлате первенстве Европы (-23) по тяжелой атлетике представляющий Армению Айк Акопян завоевал бронзовую медаль в двоеборье (412 кг – рывок (192 кг), толчок (220 кг).

Золотая медаль досталась чеху Иржи Орзагу – 427 кг (186+241), «серебро» - россиянину Алексею Ловчеву – 425 кг (190+235).
