ЧМ: Самвел Гаспарян - бронзовый призер

Армения завоевала первую медаль на чемпионате мира по тяжелой атлетике в Боготе. Чемпион Европы Самвел Гаспарян (102 кг) с результатом 389 кг (175+214) в сумме двоеборья стал бронзовым призером.

Титул чемпиона завоевал Фарес Ибрахим из Катара (391, 174+217), вице-чемпионом стал иранец Реза Дехдар (390, 177+213).
