Giroud extends current contract with Chelsea

French forward Olivier Giroud has extended his contract with London’s Chelsea for a year, reports the football club’s website.

The term of the 32-year-old footballer’s former contract was going to expire this summer.

During the championship that ended in England, Giroud scored 2 goals and made 5 passes for goals during 27 matches. In January 2018, the French forward transferred from London’s Arsenal to Chelsea, and the transfer cost 16 million Pound sterlings.
