Messi surpasses Ronaldo in all-time total club goals

The Barcelona leader, Lionel Messi has bypassed Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo in all-time total club goals, Opta reported.

The 31-year-old Argentine striker, scoring double in clash against Elibar (2-2), brought the number of his goals up to 602 in 686 appearances.

A 34-year-old Ronaldo scored 601 goals in 804 appearances.

During the current Copa del Rey, Messi scored 36 goals in the 33rd appearances and for the sixth time became the best scorer.
