This is what European long jump champion, Europe’s record-setter and President of the Armenian Athletic Federation Robert Emmiyan said on the occasion of the 104^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in an interview with NEWS.am Sport from France.

“April 24^th is a very important day for all of us. On this day, the whole world shares the pain with Armenia. I am currently in France where several events commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide are being held in different cities. I am also participating in those events.

I thank the French government and the Armenians of France for organizing and holding commemoration events every year. The Armenian Genocide of 1915 is a pain that we all share and will never be forgotten,” Robert Emmiyan said.
