Henrikh Mkhitaryan thanks countries that recognized Armenian Genocide

Armenian national team captain and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has commemorated Armenian Genocide.

The 30-year-old footballer has thanked the countries that have recognized this tragedy.

“In memory to the 1,5M victims of the #ArmenianGenocide.

“Thank you Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Czech Rep., France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Libya, Lithuania, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Uruguay, Holy See, Venezuela for having officially recognized the Armenian Genocide,” Mkhitaryan wrote on social media.

Also, he posted a respective video and added the #WeNeverForget and the #NoToDenial hashtags.

This year marks the 104th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
