Real Madrid's forward Karim Benzema commented on his future in the Whites and rumours of Los Blancos' transfer targets.

One name that has been persistently linked is Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, and Benzema is not worried about some extra competition in attack.

"It's up to the club, I don't mind. I'm just focussed on my job on the pitch and how I can help the team. I'm going to stay at Madrid. I’m at the best club in the world,” he said.

As reported earlier, Benzema is the first player in the entire 117-year history of Real Madrid, who scored the last eight goals of the team. The French striker scored goals in clashes against SD Huesca (3-2), Valencia CF (1- 2), Eibar (2-1), CD Leganés (1-1) and Senglea Athletic FC (3-0).
