Armenia’s Gasparyan becomes European silver medalist (PHOTOS)

BATUMI. – Armenia has six competitors Saturday, the last day at the 2019 European Senior Weightlifting Championships in Batumi, Georgia.

Arsen Martirosyan and Samvel Gasparyan (102kg) were the first to compete.

Gasparyan won a silver medal by lifting a combined weight of 377 kilograms.

Martirosyan lifted a total of 368 kilograms and placed sixth.
