Aleksandr Tarkhanov appointed FC Pyunik’s head coach

Russian coach Aleksandr Tarkhanov has been appointed to the position of head coach of Yerevan’s FC Pyunik, reports the press service of the Armenian football club.

In 1989, Tarkhanov served at the Kotayk training headquarters in Abovyan.

Tarkhanov, 64, has also coached fofr BKMA, Krilya Sovetov, Terekum, Kuban, Khimki and Ural, which made it to the final of the Russian Cup play-offs in 2017.

Tarkhanov has also coached the Lithuanian Vetra and the Bulgarian Slavia.

Since June 2018, Andrei Talalayev has been the head coach of FC Pyunik.
