Champions League: Liverpool beat Porto, Tottenham defeat Man City

The first leg in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals has gotten underway.

Liverpool hosted Porto and won by a score of 2-0, and Tottenham Hotspur played at home against Manchester City and defeated the latter 1-0.

The second leg of these two pairings is slated for April 17.
