EURO 2020: Armenia starts qualifiers with defeat

The Armenian national team started the EURO 2020 qualifying round with an away 2-1 defeat from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Armenia managed Armen Gulbudaghyants chose a 4-2-3-1 tactical scheme.

Edin Dzeko, who spent his 100th match for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, received a souvenir.

Italian Empoli’s Rade Krunic scored the opener in 33rd minute. The Bosnians' second goal in the 80th minute was scored by Deni Milosevic.

Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a penalty in extra time.

In other matches of Group J, the Italian national team beat Finland 2-0, while the Greeks sent scored two unanswered goals to Liechtenstein.

Armenia will face Finland in the next match that will take place in Yerevan on March 26.
