Deschamps confident that Zidane will one day head Les Bleus

Didier Deschamps, the manager of reigning football world champions France, is confident that Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane will one day take helm at Les Bleus.

“The time will come [when] Zidane will head the French team; but I don’t know when it will happen,” L'Équipe quoted Deschamps as saying. “It could have happened in the past, too. But it will be a logical step for him. [But] now there is no such matter.”
