Mkhitaryan plays in Arsenal U23 team’s suspended match

Armenian national football team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan played for Arsenal’s U23 squad in their English Premier League 2 game against West Ham United.

The match, however, was suspended due to fog.

Arsenal were ahead 3-0 before the game was called off.

Mkhitaryan, who turned 30 years old on January 21, has been out of action since December 19, 2018 when he had suffered a foot injury during Arsenal’s English Football League (EFL) Cup quarterfinal clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Armenia international, however, has recovered from the injury and is getting into shape.
