Valverde: All Barça transfers made during my time seem inconsistent
00:40 23 January, 2019Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde has commented on Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng’s transfer to the club, on loan from Sassuolo.
“All the transfers made in Barcelona during my time seem inconsistent, but later on they give a result,” Mundo Deportivo quoted Valverde as saying. “I believe Boateng doesn’t need time to adjust [to Barça]. He is ready to immediately enter the pitch and help. He can be both a forward and a central midfielder.”
Barcelona have received the 31-year-old footballer on a €2mn loan until the end of the current season, whereupon they can purchase Kevin-Prince Boateng’s transfer right for €8 million.
