A journalist who had been investigating football corruption has been shot dead in Ghana, the Guardian reported.

Last summer, BBC Africa Eye presented a documentary about the corrupt activities of Ghana FA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi, and other officials of the Federation, as well as arbitrators.

The documentary was based on an investigation by a group of journalists along with Ahmed Husein. Nayantaki received a lifelong suspension, and the government of Ghana dissolved the national football federation.
