Chelsea intend to sign Higuain

The Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan in Milan, is close to joining Chelsea in London, Metro reported.

According to the source, Chelsea are willing to pay Higuain’s salary, as well as a potential £36m transfer fee to make the loan move permanent during the summer transfer season.

In the current season, the Argentine forward scored five goals and made an assist in 12 appearances.
