Footballer who played in most number of clubs breaks own record

Former Uruguay international Sebastián Abreu has signed a deal with Rio Branco, the website of this Brazilian football club informed.

This is the 28th club in the professional career of the 42-year-old forward, and, as a result, he is the respective record-holder in world football.

Throughout his professional career Abreu has played in Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Israel, Greece, Ecuador, Paraguay, and El Salvador.
