2 doctors under investigation for negligent homicide of Davide Astori

Two doctors are suspected of negligent homicide of Davide Astori, the former Fiorentina captain, the Sun reported. 

According to the source, the ex-player of the Italian squad undergone medical tests in 2016 and 2017, which revealed serious heart problems. However, both doctors, who studied Astori electrocardiograms and conducted medical tests, issued a certificate declaring the ex-defender fit.

As reported earlier, Astori, 31, died on March 4, 2018 in a hotel room before the upcoming clash against Udinese.
