Andrey Arshavin announces retirement

Ex-midfielder of Russian squad Andrey Arshavin announced his retirement, Total Football reported.

A 37-year-old football player was playing in Kazakh Kairat since 2016.

Arshavin was playing for Zenit Saint Petersburg, Kuban Krasnodar. In 2009 he singed a 4-year deal with Arsenal.

The midfielder scored 17 goals in 74 Russian squad appearances.
