Armenia sambo wrestlers win 3 medals at world championships

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s athletes have won three medals at the 2018 World Sambo Championships, which were held in the Romanian capital city of Bucharest.

Tigran Kirakosyan (52kg) became a silver medalist while Arsen Ghazaryan (74kg) placed third in Sport Sambo, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs website informed.

And Grigor Mkhitaryan (52kg) won the silver medal in Combat Sambo.

A total of 720 sambo wrestlers from 77 countries competed in this tournament.
