Danny Welbeck undergoes surgery

Arsenal striker, Danny Welbeck, has undergone a knee surgery, said Arsenal head coach Unai Emery.

The 27-year-old spent the evening in hospital, while Emery noted the England international had an operation to correct the injury on Friday, the Sky Sports reported. 

Welbeck suffered the injury after bad landing during the 0-0 draw with Sporting Lisbon.
