La Liga: Alavés top current standings (VIDEO)

Ninth round kicked off Friday in the current season of the Spanish La Liga.

Alavés were hosted by Celta Vigo, and they beat their hosts by a score of 1-0.

Midfielder Tomás Pina scored the only goal in the 58th minute.

As a result, Alavés top the current La Liga standings, with 17 points.

Celta Vigo are tenth, with 10 points.
