Messi funds pediatric cancer hospital construction

The charitable foundation of Argentina and FC Barcelona forward Lionel Messi as well as the SNF foundation have donated €2.6 million for the construction of the Pediatric Cancer Center in Barcelona, press service of the Catalan football club reported.

It is noted that thanks to this donation, the €30 million needed for the construction of this hospital were collected, and whereby the groundbreaking for this medical facility was made possible.

Messi also attended this groundbreaking.
