UFC chief: Nurmagomedov will stay at organization
00:15 19 October, 2018Dana White, President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has confirmed that reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov (Russia) will continue fighting at the UFC.
“We’re good with Khabib,” TMZ quoted White as saying. “He’s staying. This will all work out.
“At the end of the day, Khabib is a great guy and we’ve always had a great relationship with him.”
Nurmagomedov defeated former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor (Ireland) at the UFC 229 which took place on October 6, in Las Vegas, USA.
After the bout, however, a clash occurred between the teams of the two fighters, and which Nurmagomedov had instigated.
