London Olympics 2012: Armenia’s Nurmagomedov suffers defeat

Armenia’s Gadzhimurad Nurmagomedov failed to advance to the quarterfinal of wrestling men’s 84 kg category.

He lost to Iran’s Ehsan Naser Lahshari. Nurmagomedov has a chance to fight for bronze if Iranian wrestler reaches the final.

In the first round Nurmagomedov defeated Beijing Olympics silver medalist Yusup Abdusalomov from Tajikistan.
