Manchester City extended the contract with Argentine striker Sergio Aguero, the Mirror reported.

The new contract will expire in 2021.

“I am happy for this additional year. My idea was being here for 10 years. I’ve been here for seven years, it’s going to be 10 when the contract expires. This was the main reason I signed. I’m very happy because they have treated my very well since the first day I got here. I’m very happy with everything that involves the Club, my teammates, the staff and the management team,” he said.

Sergio Aguero moved to Manchester City in 2011 from Atletico Madrid. He scored 204 goals in 299 Manchester Untied appearances.
