Thomas Müller makes 100th Champions League appearance

With an 88th-minute substitution for Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League group stage opener Wednesday against Benfica, Thomas Müller became the 35th member of the exclusive club of players with 100 or more Champions League appearances, the UEFA official website informed.

The German international has made all of his 100 Champions League appearances with Bayern Munich.
Porto’s Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas holds the record for most Champions League appearances, with 168 matches.
