London Olympics 2012: Armenian boxer wins bronze for Russia

Russian-Armenian boxer Davit Hayrapetyan won bronze at the 30th London Olympics. Hayrapetyan was defeated by Thai boxer Kaeo Pongprayoon 3-3, 5-6, 4-4, in the Men’s 49 kg category.

Another Armenian-Russian boxer Misha Aloyan will perform at 11.30 p.m. Yerevan time. His opponent in the semifinal will be Mongolia’s Tugstsogt Nyambayar in Men’s 52 kg category.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiad, also known informally as London 2012, kicked off in London, United Kingdom, on July 27 and will continue until August 12, 2012.
