Novak Djokovic climbs 4 spots after historic Cincinnati Masters win

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) on Monday issued their new rankings.

Accordingly, Rafael Nadal still tops the ATP rankings. And after winning the Cincinnati Masters on Sunday, former World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has climbed four spots and is now ranked sixth.

The 31-year-old Serbian has become the first tennis player to win all nine Masters’ titles.

Russia’s Karen Khachanov maintained his 27th spot in the new ATP standings. The 22-year-old Muscovite Armenian is still the top-ranked tennis player of the country.  

And Simona Halep continues to lead the WTA rankings.
