Tottenham put off opening of new stadium

ottenham Hotspur have delayed the opening of their new stadium because of “issues with the critical safety systems,” reported BBC.

The London football club had been expected to play their first game at the new ground on September 15, against Liverpool, but that match has now been switched to Wembley Stadium.
Tottenham’s following home game against Cardiff—on October 6—has also been moved to Wembley.
A venue for their English Premier League game against Manchester City—on October 28—is currently “to be confirmed.”

It was reported that Tottenham had decided to name their new stadium after the name of the club.
