Canadian Open: Karen Khachanov in quarterfinals

Russia’s top-ranked tennis player Karen Khachanov has advanced to the quarterfinals at the Canadian Open in Toronto.

In the round of 16, the 22-year-old Muscovite Armenian defeated John Isner (USA) in two sets.

Next, Khachanov will face Robin Haase (Netherlands) for the semifinals.
