De Gea to become highest paid goalkeeper in the world

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea will become the highest paid goalkeeper in the world, Marca reported. 

Spain’s national team football player will receive 21 million euros per year after signing a new 5-year-deal. The new deal is expected to be signed after the Russia-hosted 2018 World Cup.

The highest paid goalkeeper now is Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. He earns approximately 15 million euros while other keepers are far from what the Spaniard will receive.
