French President intends to attend World Cup in Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron intends to visit Russian during 2018 FIFA World Cup, Macron said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“If the French team passes beyond the quarter-finals I will come and support,” Reuters reported quoting Macron.

France will face Australia, Peru and Denmark in the 2018 World Cup group stages.

The World Cup in Russia will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018 in 11 cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Sochi.
