Unai Emery is one of the candidates to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal head coach, Daily Star reported.

Unai Emery may head Arsenal after leaving French PSG at the end of the season, the source said.

Arsenal leadership may start the talks with former Valencia and Sevilla coach in the near future.

As reported earlier, Mikel Arteta was also the candidate for the post of the head coach. Arteta is a former Arsenal captain who played for the club from 2011 to 2016. Since July 2016, a 36-year-old Artera has been working as a coach at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. Pep Guardiola, in turn, noted he would not stand in Arteta’s way if Arsenal come calling.

A 68-year-old Arsene Wenger headed Arsenal since 1996. He has won a total of 17 titles and has overseen three Premier League title wins in Arsenal.
