Italian Open: Djokovic to face Nadal in semifinals

Novak Djokovic has advanced to the semifinals of the Italian Open.

The Serbian tennis star, who is currently ranked world No. 11 in men’s singles, defeated Japan’s Kei Nishikori in the quarterfinals of this tournament in Rome.

In the semifinals, Djokovic will face Rafael Nadal. If the Spanish star player wins the Italian Open, he could return to his World No. 1 ranking, which is currently held by the Swiss, Roger Federer.
